A.K.M. Nurul Alam, Independent Director

Biography
A.K.M. Nurul Alam is a well-known and respected personality in the private and commercial banking sector of Bangladesh with over 38 years of experience. During his career, he led many branches of top commercial banks and transformed them into the top-ranking profit-earning branch. After completing Master of Commerce in Accounting from Chittagong University, Mr. Alam joined Rupali Bank Limited as Principal Officer in 1980. During his extensive service tenure, Mr. Alam held several top management positions including Executive Vice President, Deputy Managing Director, Chief Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer, etc. Mr. Alam retired from SouthEast Bank Limited in 2019 as Additional Managing Director.
Mr. Alam has a solid track record in Corporate Credit, SME financing, and International Trade. He is highly capable of analyzing, evaluating, and resolving situations for large-scale projects. A team player and visionary leader, Mr. Alam’s ability to coordinate and execute long-term strategies specifically aimed to meet organizational goals is well reflected in his constant achievement as a high-performance leader.
During his illustrious professional career, Mr. Alam attended a lot of training/workshops at home and abroad in Turkey, Malaysia & Greece on critical issues like Credit Risk Management, International Trade Payment & Finance, Foundation Course on Banking, Bank Marketing, and Financial Products Development, Management of Deposit Mix, Management of Non- Performing Asset, The Art and Practice of Leadership, Credit Risk Management & Debt Recovery Strategies and other issues related to Bank Management.
In 2022, Mr. Alam joined the Board of aamra networks limited as an Independent Director. He is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Syeda Munia Ahmed, Director

Biography
Syeda Munia Ahmed, daughter of AHM Shafiul Islam was born in 1970. She is an M.A. in English from Dhaka University. She has also got “Special Diploma in Leadership and Diploma in Early Childhood” from Eaton house Singapore. Syeda Munia Ahmed has 20 years of teaching experience both in Bangladesh and Singapore. Syeda Munia Ahmed is also engaged in various cultural and social welfare organizations. With a higher educational background and vast experience she is a very active Director of aamra networks limited. She spearheads the CSR activities of ANL, which includes assisting the management in identifying CSR projects and mapping the companies’ contribution effectively.

Fahmida Ahmed, Director

Biography
Fahmida Ahmed, daughter of Late Khalid Ibrahim, was born in 1972. After completing her graduation, Fahmida became the Director of aamra networks limited and has been participating in making various policies and regulations of ANL. Fahmida plays an active role in guiding the marketing and promotional activities of ANL, including assisting the management in identifying and securing sponsorship opportunity for increasing the brand value of ANL.
